Hazard removed from M6

POLICE were alerted early this morning (Thursday) after a tree branch was spotted in the middle of the M6.
A motorist raised the alarm at 5.43am, and the branch was retrieved by Highways Agency officers before an accident could happen, a police spokesman said.
