Kendal CancerCare centre 'urgently' needs volunteers

A CHARITY which provides invaluable support to South Lakeland cancer patients has issued an urgent appeal for more volunteers.
CancerCare needs extra help on reception at its Lakes Centre off Blackhall Road in Kendal.
Senior fundraiser Helen Hartin told the Gazette: “If things continue and we don’t get help with reception we will struggle.
“If you have a few hours a week to spare and enjoy meeting new people we would love to hear from you.”

CancerCare supports people in North Lancashire and South Cumbria, offering help to cancer sufferers, their families, carers and those bereaved by the disease.
