POLICE investigating an 'unprovoked assault' in a Kendal pub have released a CCTV still of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
The image was taken at The Dun Horse, on Stramongate, at around 2am on Sunday, December 30.
Officers said a middle-aged local man was hit in the face in the vicinity of the pub and suffered minor facial injuries as a result.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: "Police are seeking to trace the man in the CCTV image as he was seen in the area around the time the assault took place and may have information that can help the police inquiry.
"If anyone recognises the man in the CCTV, or if this is you, please contact PC Rob Dixon at Kendal police station by calling 101.
"Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
