RESIDENTS in a Furness street are being asked to 'keep an eye out' after a spate of criminal damage attacks against a homeowner.

The same property in Chapel Street, Dalton, has now been targeted four times, Cumbria Police said.

In the most recent case of vandalism, a rear door was damaged on Tuesday (January 22) evening.

On January 16, a gate at the back of the property was targeted by vandals.

Three youths dressed in dark clothing were seen running from the area between 8pm-10pm.

A Cumbria Police spokeswoman said: "Police would like to ask all the residents in Chapel Street to keep an eye out for any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area and to report any such incidents as soon as possible."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111.
