Collapse of manhole and road closure causes long delays on A590 towards Newby Bridge

CLOSURE of the A590 because of a manhole collapse is causing long delays for motorists.
The eastbound lane has been shut close to the Rusland Pool Hotel, causing traffic to move slowly between Roam Wood and the B5278 Lanes End.
It is mainly affecting motorists travelling towards Newby Bridge.
