Ambleside: Fell 2 birch, crown raise 2 birch to 2.5m/extension to existing shop storeroom and studio (two applications received: tree work in conservation area and full planning), at Heaton Cooper Studio Ltd, Grasmere, for J. Heaton Cooper; new dwelling house - 3 bedrooms on footprint of existing Dairy Cottage (to be demolished), at Dairy Cottage, Pull Wood Bay Estate, for Dr M. Tate; retrospective application for construction of decking, at 5 Wansfell Bank, for Mr and Mrs Birkett.
Bowness-on-Windermere: Demolition of existing porch and re-construction of new porch, at Flat 10, Meadowcroft, Storrs Park, for K. Johnson; alterations to existing dwelling comprising porch to front entrance, roof windows to front and rear elevations, gable end window at 1st floor level and roller shutter door to replace up and over type in wider opening, at 27 Beechwood Close, for P. Spencer.
Cockermouth: Proposed garden room extension to existing dwelling/minor amendment to planning permission 7/2011/2066 relating to roof form and fenestration (variation of condition 2) (two applications received: listed building and full planning), at High Park House, Loweswater, for Mr and Mrs Gray; proposed livestock building, at Harrot Hill Farm, for P. Stamper.
Grange-over-Sands: Confirmation of compliance with conditions 5 and 10 of approval ref. 7/2010/5580 relating to external joinery and the sewage treatment installation, at Bowes Lodge, Witherslack, for Mr and Mrs S. Wilson.
Grasmere: Prune 1 redwood tree to create 2.5m clearance above roof and chimney only on branches overhanging the roof. Ensuring that there are still branches to maintain an attractive shape to this tree as viewed from the front of the property, at Michaels Nook, for Mrs C. Darwin.
Kendal: New porch to rear door, at Corner Cottage, Crook, for K. Hickey; fell 20 douglas fir and 10 smaller douglas fir, at Crag Howe, Lyth, for Mrs H. Millom: Extension and alterations to existing house and alterations to ancillary accommodation to be used as holiday let, at Whicham Mill, Whicham, for Mrs M. Sewell.
Penrith: Proposed demolition of rear flat roofed areas and construction of two storey extension to form new utility, kitchen and dining room with lounge, bedroom and study over including re-roofing, at Sherriff, Troutbeck, for R. Graham; non material amendment to approval ref 7/2012/3052 relating to position of door and window at ground floor and revision of size of first floor window, at Greenside Lodge, Glenridding, for B. Wasdale Head: Retention of temporary toilet block (approved by 7/2010/4008) for another three years and ancillary works, at land adjacent Old School, for M. Curry, Lake District National Park Authority.
Wigton: Variation of conditions 3 and 5 on 7/2008/2030 and conditions 3 and 4 on 7/2010/2060 to allow 7 tents to remain on site in semi-collapsed state between 1 November and 1 March of each year and to allow a revised landscaping scheme, at Howbeck Lodge, Hesket Newmarket, for Mr and Mrs J.
