FLAUTISTS will flock to Kendal from schools across Cumbria on Friday to take part in a musical masterclass.
Kendal Town Hall will play host to Cumbria Flute Day – an event that will see pupils between the ages of nine and 16 take part alongside adults in flute-related activities and a workshop.
Organised by Suzanne de Lozey from the British Flute Society and Sarah Barkway from Cumbria Music Service, it is being run by renowned flautist Stephen Clark.
Schools taking part include The Lakes School, Troutbeck Bridge and primary schools from Old Hutton, Crosscrake, Windermere, Holme, Cartmel,Heversham, Storth, Over Kellet and Crosby Ravensworth with Kendal’s Kirkbie Kendal and Queen Katherine Schoos and Ullswater Community College.
