Update: Broken down freight train disrupting train services between Oxenholme and Penrith

A FREIGHT train which broke down between Oxenholme Lake District and Penrith, causing delays for passengers of up to 45 minutes, is now being moved.
National Rail said some delays will remain as normal service resumes.
Virgin services between Preston and Glasgow Central, and between Preston and Edinburgh Waverley are affected, as well as First Transpennine Express trains between Manchester Piccadilly and Glasgow Central, and between Manchester Piccadilly and Edinburgh Waverley.
