Police investigate sudden death of man found near Black Beck Wood in Windermere

THE body of a man was found in the area of Black Beck Wood in Windermere yesterday morning.
The man, believed to be in his early 40s, was discovered just after 8am.
A police spokesman said: "At this time the male has not been identified, but enquiries suggest he could be from outside the area.
"There are no suspicious circumstances at this time."
Anyone with information should contact DS Mark Jacobs, who is heading up the investigation, at Kendal police station on 101.
