Kirkby Lonsdale GP to retire

VETERAN Kirkby Lonsdale GP David Thomas is to retire after 25 years at the Lunesdale surgery.
Dr Thomas, who qualified in 1980, will step down at the end of March. He plans to remain in the area.
He will be replaced by Dr Denise Brunt, who worked at the surgery last year during her training.
