Sell-out sucess for Windermere CE Junior School's production of Bugsy Malone

A PRODUCTION of Bugsy Malone was performed to sell out audiences at Windermere CE Junior School. The leading roles were Callum Pinder as Bugsy, Shearna James as Tallulah, Holly Quinn as Fat Sam, Lara McKenzie as Blousey and Ben Chapman as Dandy Dan.

Teacher Louise Swindlehurst said a large number of children took part ‘whole-heartedly’ in the annual production. “Whether they had acting parts on stage, dancing, singing with the choir, back stage, or helping with props; every child develops an exceptional sense of achievement and are always extremely proud of their accomplishments,” she said. “We couldn’t have produced the concert without commitment from staff, pupils and parents.”
