Man set to appear in court following attempted armed robbery at petrol station

A MAN has been charged with attempted robbery and possessing a knife in a public place, following an incident at a petrol station in Greenodd.
Nicholas Rowan Walker, 20, from Ulverston, is due to appear at Furness and District Magistrates Court today.
The charges are in connection with an attempted robbery that occurred on Tuesday, February 26.
Police enquiries into the incident are continuing and officers are appealing for anyone with information, anyone who may have seen a black car with orange wheels travelling in the vicinity of Greenodd or anyone who saw anything suspicious, on Tuesday, to please come forward.
