Westbound carriageway of A66 at Appleby to be closed overnight on Friday for repairs

THE westbound carriageway of the A66 at Appleby will be closed between 8pm on Friday (March 15) and 4am on Saturday while the road is repaired following a vehicle fire.
Drivers are being warned that traffic will diverted off the A66 at Coupland Beck onto the B6542 and through Appleby, rejoining the A66 north of the town centre.
