Farmers at the sale Farmers at the sale

The first prize show and sale of cattle at Kendal Auction Mart’s new Crooklands home next to J36 of the M6 attracted hundreds of farmers.

The event, sponsored by The Westmorland Gazette, saw the top prize go to Steven Benson with his nine-month-old British Blue Steer, which went on to sell for £1,100.

Well here we are at the Moss End Auction Mart, Harry Robinson in his much badged hat and his son Arthur in his Australian beanie. Is that Linda Beck I see in the gallery? Which Galbraith is it there who is a ringer for his father Bob, Robin or Eddie?
Takes me back abit, a trip of joy, keep up the tradition.
