Concern growing for missing Barrow man

CONCERN is growing for a man who has been missing since March 9.

Mark March, aged 30 and from Barrow, was last seen by his family at around 10am that day and has not made any contact with them since.

He has not returned to his father's address in Barrow Park, where he usually lives. He is described as white with short, dark brown hair and is around 5ft 9ins tall and of slim build.

He was last seen wearing a blue cotton jacket, dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

Detective Chief Inspector Bob Qazi said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Mark, his family say that it is totally out of character for him to go missing and we appeal to anyone who knows him or if they have seen anyone matching his description to get in touch with Barrow police immediately.”

It is thought he may be sleeping rough.

Anyone who has seen or spoken to Mark since his disappearance is asked to contact Cumbria Police on 101.

Police have also urged Mark himself to get in touch. He can contact the police or his family to let them know that he is safe and well.
