PREPARATIONS are underway for another royal visit to Cumbria this week.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will tour BAE Systems in Barrow on Friday.
Areas opposite and adjacent to the main reception, on Bridge Road, will be cordoned off to allow the public to catch a glimpse of Prince William and Kate as they arrive in the early afternoon.
Minor travel disruption is expected while police close sections of the road for a short time.
The visit comes after Prince Charles' engagements in Lupton, Kirkby Lonsdale and Sedbergh on Thursday and The Duchess of Cambridge's day at a Scout camp near Windermere the week before.
