A 63-YEAR-OLD man was airlifted to safety after suffering a cardiac arrest at Crosthwaite.
The Great North Air Ambulance and North West Ambulance Service were called out at 10.30 this morning
He had been treated by paramedics who had been able to restore a heart beat before the helicopter, the Pride of Cumbria, arrived to escort him to Royal Lancaster Infirmary in a stable condition.
