FIREFIGHTERS have been called out this afternoon to reports of a car fire in Ambleside.
Crews attended the incident, close to the Drunken Duck, at around 3.40pm, after the brakes on the car set alight.
It is not thought anybody was hurt in the incident and the fire service was unable to say whether anybody had been in the car at the time.
They used one hose reel to put the fire out.
