TOP trumpeter Crispian Steele-Perkins is sharing the stage with Levens Choir next week.

Reckoned by many as the world's leading baroque trumpeter, Crispian features in the B Minor Mass by JS Bach, which presents Levens Choir with one of its greatest, and most satisfying, challenges. Performed at Kendal Parish Church on Saturday, July 6 (7.30pm) and at Lancaster Cathedral the following Saturday, July 13 (8pm), Ian Jones’ popular choristers will be joined by a specialist orchestra of Baroque players and highly regarded vocal soloists, Laurie Ashworth (soprano), Joyce Tindsley (mezzo-soprano), Christopher Steele (tenor) and Jolyon Dodgson (bass).
