Hunters converge on Cumbria

HUNDREDS of hunters from across the country converged on Cumbria last week for the Lunesdale Foxhounds hunting festival.

Six hunts from across the country were invited to join the Lunesdale pack on trail hunts throughout Cumbria, North Yorkshire and north Lancashire, from the week of November 18 to November 25.

Eddie Braithwaite, the joint chairman of the Lunesdale Pack, said the festival attracted hundreds of visitors over the week, who spent the day following hounds along specially laid trails.
