Bikes burned after being taken from Lake District playground returned and restored

BIKES set on fire after being taken from a Lake District nursery playground have been restored by a generous voluntary organisation.
The Windermere Round Table presented Leapfrog, based at St Mary's Nursery and Infant school, Windermere, with the bikes.
They were brought back to life by Keith Hastie, one its members, and the organisation also built them new two new secure storage sheds.
"It means the trikes can be locked away and not left in the playground," said Kevin Clancy, secretary of the voluntary organisation.
