UPDATE: Police name man who died in 100ft Keswick fall

POLICE have named the man who died after falling 100ft in woods near Keswick.
Christopher Connell, 67, of Halifax, was walking in an organised group when the incident happened on the path above St John's Beck on Saturday.
Emergency services, including the Keswick Mountain Rescue team and the North West Ambulance Service, were called just after 4pm.
Despite efforts from members of his own party and the emergency services to resuscitate Mr Connell, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The mountain rescue team stretchered his body across the beck to the roadside for onward transport.
His family have been informed and the details have been passed to the coroner.
There were no suspicious circumstances.
