Police appeal for witnesses after man dies two days after Ingleton crash

A MAN has died two days after being involved in a three vehicle accident on the A65 near Ingleton.
The 38-year-old from Bradford, who was the front seat passenger in a Passat, suffered serious injuries in the collision which happened outside Scalemire Farm, Newby, on Tuesday.
He was taken to the Preston Royal Infirmary, where he died today.
Police closed the road for more than eight hours following the accident which involved the black Volkswagen Passat, a black Audi A4 estate and a black Skoda Fabia.
The man driving the Passat and the two rear seat passengers, both women, suffered slight injuries.
All three are from Bradford.
The two people in the Fabia, both aged 56 and from Low Bentham, suffered serious injuries.
The man driving the car was taken to Preston Royal Infirmary and the woman passenger went to Leeds General Infirmary.
They both remain in hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the Audi, a 48-year-old Keighley man, suffered minor injuries.
Traffic Sergeant Hamish Halloway, of North Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Group, said: “If you witnessed the collision or were in the area of the incident at the time and saw any of the cars involved, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.”
