Put your alcohol harm-related questions to Cumbria's officers
1:43pm Thursday 26th September 2013 in News
MEMBERS of the public will be able to question Cumbria Constaulary officers on alcohol harm tomorrow.
The webchat will allow questions to be put to Inspector Mike O’Hagan and Sergeant’s Mark Rawlinson and John McIntosh from South Cumbria policing area.
It will take place between 6.30 and 8.30pm and a spokesperson said it will be a 'great opportunity' for people to ask questions about alcohol related topics, such as the benefits of alternating soft and alcoholic drinks when out socialising, the dangers of drinking at an early age and what parents should know about alcohol harm.
It is part of the Alcohol Harm Reduction Strategy campaign which has highlighted the cost and impact that alcohol harm has on communities.
To take part log onto www.cumbria.police.uk/barrow between 6:30pm and 8:30pm tomorrow.
