Diabetes cases rise in Cumbria

THERE are now 666 more people with diabetes in Cumbria than there were a year ago according to new analysis by Diabetes UK.
It shows that approximately 33,230 people in the county are now thought to have diabetes, which has gone up from 32,564 in 2012. This means that 7.9 per cent of people in the area now have the condition.
