A ROADSHOW offering information on how to stay warm and save money on energy this winter was held on Kendal’s Castle Estate.
Coun Clare Feeney-Johnson, for Kendal Nether ward, organised the event for residents to pick up tips on keeping warm, saving energy use, draught busting and fire safety.
“In South Lakeland 26.3 per cent of people are living in fuel poverty. I wanted to hold an event where people can learn how to help themselves save money,” said Coun Feeney-Johnson.
