TRADESMEN keeping tools and equipment stored in the back of vans overnight are being warned to be vigilant after a break-in attempt was made last night.
The rear window of an Astra van parked on the drive of a house in Helmside Gardens, Oxenholme, Kendal, was shattered in an attempt to try and steal tools.
However, the thieves got away with nothing after abandoning their attempt.
Kendal Police are now investigating. Anyone with information can contact 101.
