A FURNESS man was sentenced to five and half years imprisonment today in Barrow Crown Court.
David Charles McCormick, aged 38, of Plover Close, Askam-in-Furness admitted to two separate offences of possession with intent to supply Heroin and possession of Heroin, a class A drug. He was sentenced to 66 months imprisonment.
The court heard how McCormick was arrested in July this year following the recovery of £13,000 worth of heroin at a premises in Askam-in-Furness. This is McCormick’s third conviction for a class A drugs trafficking offence.
