Kendal man makes mobile phone appeal

First published in News

A KENDAL man is appealing for old mobile phones which can be exchanged for iPads by autism charity Hearts & Minds.

David Meehan, whose son has autism, said: “iPads are a brilliant learning tool for autistic children but the expense is a big stumbling block.”

Donated phones must be in decent condition with a colour screen. Donations can be made at Zax Hairdressers, Allhallows Lane.

I have an autistic son and they are fabulous. I would be interested to know whether the iPads are subsidised because I may be interested in maybe purchasing one for a family or donating my samsung galaxy tab 2 that I don't use to a family.
