PARENTS in the UK have an important role to play in helping their offspring on to the housing ladder with almost two-thirds of first time buyers receiving help to save a deposit for their first property.
The report from Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks shows that 63 per cent benefit from financial support when buying their first home.
