MORE than £5,000 has been raised at the annual winter ball hosted by global people development company Impact International, of Windermere.
The cash was raised through ticket sales and an auction of prizes donated by local businesses and Impact clients. It will go towards sending disadvantaged Cumbrian children on holiday in August next year.
The event was held at Merewood Country House Hotel.
