CUMBRIA Probation Trust has been rated ‘exceptional’ by the performance unit at the National Offender Management Service.
It follows the latest end of quarter assessment of a range of targets, which are compared with each probation trust across the country.
Cumbria was rated four star in public protection and reducing re-offending and three star for sentence delivery.
