Do you recognise the couple in this old wedding photograph?
“It was brought in by a couple from America who volunteer for our charity,” said Bridget Guest, general manager of Kendal’s Quaker Tapestry Exhibition & Cafe.
“It was found in an old chest of drawers by the couple’s daughter, who lives in Dorset while she was trying to find out where a very large spider had disappeared to.
She didn’t find the spider but she found the picture instead which is stamped ‘Westmorland Gazette photograph’ on the back.
“Do any Gazette readers recognise the newly-weds as staff at the Quaker Tapestry museum are hoping to reunite the family/couple with the picture.”
If anyone recognises the couple they can contact Bridget on 01539 722975 or email: info@quaker-tapestry.co.uk
