THE bumpy access road to the Lakes School at Troutbeck Bridge is to be resurfaced – with two days pf work is due to start on December 19.
South Lakes MP Tim Farron worked with Coun Jo Stephenson on the issue.
“People pay enough tax on their cars, I think the least they deserve is decent roads, not roads strewn with potholes so I hope this is the first of many roads fixed in our area,” said Mr Farron.
A spokesman for the county council said: “Affected residents will be informed of details by letter. We apologise for any inconvenience.”
