NEARLY 500 people headed to Leighton Hall to find the perfect Christmas gift while raising money for charity.
The Christmas Craft Fair was set up to help fund the vital work of CancerCare, and included a selection of local handmade crafts, mince pies and carol singing from Carnforth Choral Society.
One of the stallholders, Val Cope, said: “I used to attend the jewellery group at CancerCare as a client but now I am making and selling my own creations! It’s wonderful being able to showcase my work at events like this and it’s even better knowing I am helping to give something back to CancerCare – the support they have given me over the years has been amazing.”
