A GROUP of Finnish students was given a tour of Kendal’s treasures as part of a month-long stay in the town.
The group are being taught English at The Shakespeare Centre and taken out to local businesses and Lake District beauty spots by teacher Jerry Wood.
They were given a presentation on Kendal’s history and a chance to see some of its historical artefacts at the Mayor’s Parlour with Mayor’s Attendant Peter Cannon and historian Trevor Hughes.
