A KENDAL man will appear in court after being charged with the possession of prohibited images of children.
Andrew Smith, 55, is charged with having 36 images as defined by Sections 62(1) and 66(2) of The Coroners and Justice Act 2009.
Mr Smith, of Killington Drive, was arrested on August 29 in relation to these offences following a complaint made to police.
Subsequent investigation commenced on 23rd February 2013.
Mr Smith will appear before Kendal Magistrates Court on January 8.
