SOUTH Lakes MP Tim Farron joined volunteers to bag pack at Booths in Windermere to raise funds for St John’s Hospice.
Mr Farron recently worked with volunteers in the hospice's shop in Kendal to clean furniture to make it suitable for sale.
St John's Hospice has nine charity shops in the Lancaster, Morecambe and Kendal areas - raising vital income for the hospice and a presence in the community which supports them.
Mr Farron said “It was great to join the volunteers and raise vital funds for St John’s Hospice. They offer amazing care which is compassionate and of highest quality. I regularly lobby Government ministers to do more to support local hospices and I was pleased to support them."
