POLICE have released CCTV images of two men they need to trace in connection with a serious assault on a man in Morecambe town centre nearly two months ago.
The offence took place around 12.30am on Saturday October 26 near to a cash machine on Pedder Street.
They say the 35-year-old victim was punched once following an altercation, causing him to fall to the floor and sustain a serious brain injury.
Sgt James Martin said: “I would urge these men or anybody with any information about who they are to contact Lancaster CID as a matter of urgency.
“Fortunately the victim is now out of hospital and recovering at home, but he has long-term recovery injuries.”
The first man is described as being a large build and wearing a black t-shirt. The second man is a medium build wearing a horizontally stripped t-shirt.
