My hopes for 2014: Susannah Bleakley, Executive director, Morecambe Bay Partnership

We’ve lots of exciting projects – the Bay cycle way, outdoor exhibition and developing a Morecambe Bay brand.
I really hope that businesses get on board and get behind the brand.
I’d love to see significant progress to secure a cycle way over the Arnside Viaduct and the restoration and regeneration of Grange Lido.
For other projects such as recording oral histories, I’d hope lots of local people get involved, volunteer, share stories and save our precious cultural heritage.
My biggest hope is for our investment to be a catalyst for community renewal, for 2014 to be a turning point for the communities of Morecambe Bay the start of its renaissance.
Susannah Bleakley, executive director, the Morecambe Bay Partnership.
