THE heavy rain and high winds are continuing to affect roads in Cumbria.
Police have advised that the A591 has flooded and is quite treacherous in some areas, particularly from Dunmail Raise towards Grasmere and also on the Keswick side of Dunmail Raise.
There is a lot of surface water on the roads, and police are urging motorists to drive to the road and weather conditions.
