MORE than £1,000 made through criminal activity has been distributed to groups in South Lakeland and Furness.
Cumbria Police and Crime Commissioner Richard Rhodes has handed out £1,300 seized through the Proceeds of Crime Act – with £500 each given to Kendal homeless charity Step by Step and the Furness Multicultural Community Forum, and £300 going to the Ormsgill Youth Club at Barrow.
