THE building manager at a south Cumbrian hospital has laid the foundations of a second career by writing a novel.
Nick Buxton, based in the estates department at Furness General Hospital, originally wrote his story Sixty Six Chances as a motion-picture screenplay.
But now after working on the story for four years he has transformed the plot into an action-packed paperback.
“This story is great in that lovers of all genres, not just romance or time travel, will easily get lost in it,” said Mr Buxton. “It’s like a grown up Back to the Future meets Titanic.”
Sixty Six Chances is available in paperback from Amazon and as an e-book on Kindle and other devices.
