Moscow-born tutor offers Russian language course in Lancaster

A MOSCOW-born north Lancashire tutor is offering an insight into Russian language and culture in anticipation of an increased world interest in her home country ahead of the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
Masha Golubeva has organised a 10-week course, starting on January 13, which is specifically designed for people in north Lancashire and south Cumbria who have little or no knowledge of the Russian language.
Masha, who lives and teaches in Lancaster, said: “With the Winter Olympics starting on the February 6, the world's attention will turn to Russia and the international teams competing in Sochi.
“My Russian language course aims to give an insight into to a language and culture of Russia and Russian people.
“This course is specifically designed to suit the people with no previous or with the limited knowledge of the Russian language and to deliver person-centred tuition in a fun and easy way which online courses and CDs are unable to match.”
