AN EDEN company is in the running for the title of Britain’s Best Bakery.
Appleby Bakery is vying for the title with two other Cumbrian bakeries — Muffin Top Boutique Bakery, Whitehaven, and Crags Country Bakery, Carlisle.
They will compete with each other in a return series of ITV’s daytime show Britain’s Best Bakery, which makes its second run from January 6.
Expert judges include Cumbrian TV chef Peter Sidwell and celebrity baker Mich Turner.
