THE chief of North Yorkshire Police will host his first webchat of 2014 tomorrow evening.
Chief Constable Dave Jones will take part in a live question and answer session on the force’s website between 5pm and 6pm, when residents will be able to raise issues and tell him about their good or bad experiences with North Yorkshire Police.
He is also ‘open to suggestions’ about how policing in the county can be improved.
“I’ve been Chief Constable of North Yorkshire Police for six months now and my monthly webchats always provide a valuable insight into the policing issues which most concern residents,” he said.
“It is also a very quick and easy way to interact with the very people I am proud to serve.
“I look forward to answering as many of your questions as possible.”

Residents who are unable to take part in the live webchat are encouraged to send questions in advance via the North Yorkshire Police Twitter account, @NYorksPolice, using the hashtag #AskTheChief, or via the Facebook page www.facebook.com/NorthYorkshirePolice
