Carbon dioxide cylinder involved in derelict caravan blaze

A DERELICT caravan has been set alight in Broughton-in-Furness.

At 7.17pm yesterday a fire engine from the town was called out to reports the vehicle, at Whetstone Croft Wood, was on fire.

On arrival the crew found the caravan 'well alight' and say a carbon dioxide cylinder was involved.

They used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.

Nobody is thought to have been hurt.
