A KENDAL man has been charged with attempted murder.
David James Shepherd, 33, of High Sparrowmire Lane, was charged by Cumbria Police yesterday and appeared before Carlisle magistrates this morning.
The charge relates to an incident which took place outside his home on December 9.
A police spokesman said no further details are currently available.
