Impact on Grasmere of World War 1 under the spotlight

First published in News

The impact of World War I on Grasmere and its People will be discussed at the Jerwood Centre, on Saturday (January 11) at 3pm.

The Local History Group is working towards an exhibition in November 2014, exploring this topic and this event will be an introduction to some of the issues involved.

There will be short talks by members of the group but contributions would be appreciated from any local residents (past or present).

To book a place, call the Wordsworth Trust on 015394-35544.
