A MAN from Lancaster is due in court this week on a charge of allegedly causing another to fear unlawful violence.
Stuart Brooks, 45, of Longlands Road, Lancaster, is at Lancaster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 16 January.
The alleged offence took place on Sunday December 22 when it is alleged Brooks used words and behaviour towards a male nurse at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, Ashton Road, Lancaster that caused the nurse to fear immediate unlawful violence would be used against him.
It is also alleged Brooks’ words were of a homophobic nature, said Lancaster Police.
